POSALUX - BANGLE, RING DIAMOND CUTTING FACETING MACHINE. Manual controlled milling machine for cutting "diamond cut" patterns on bangles and rings. Comes with 1 diamond head, 2 carbide heads (one has a chip but still usable, see image 8), a spare head for making your own cutter and a set of bangle and ring jigs/clamps. In great condition other than chip on 1 carbide tip and one threaded turn rod is broken but can be adjusted without it or easily replaced and does not affect operation. Posalux machine set as Horizontal but i think it can be changed to vertical cutting but I'm not sure as i have never tried. Horizontal cutting is done in repeating curves as opposed to straight lines. Operates as follows: 1) Choose clamping jig and attach item to be patterned. 2) Set the depth of cut, angle of cut and spacing of cut. 3) turn on motor and pull handle to cut once then release 4) pull second handle to rotate item (by chosen spacing) repeat steps 3 and 4 until desired amount of pattern is done. These machines are very hard to come by and are expensive, usually around £1500 second hand grab one now for less than £1000. Note: this item is extremely heavy and is for collection only.
